The jam band is back! Roster McCabe’s album Through Space and Time delivers to a diverse audience with straightforward beauty and electric charm. This talented quintet produces inspiring, hybrid sounds that range from R&B, soul and funk to metal, reggae, (including amazing jazz melodies in between). “Falling Apart” has an uplifting vibe; the clean, solid arrangements reminiscent of some of our favorite 1970’s tunes. “Soar” is a spectacular instrumental, highlighting a sophisticated rhythm section. “Acorns” could easily soundtrack a movie or television commercial with its inquisitive, light filled beats.
These rockers enjoy syncopated bass riffs and powerful drums but their writing skills are just as potent. Going from an easy, reggae flow one minute and bursting into progressive rock intensity, the next, this band delivers, whatever your music flavor might be.
